It’s been a minute since Chicago rap legend Twista been on the scene. In 2010, he dropped his eighth studio album, The Perfect Storm, but since then, things have been quiet. Well, Twista is getting ready for a comeback.
He recently stopped by the ThisIs50.com offices for a sit-down with host/comedian Jack Thriller to discuss rumors and what’s to come.
First, Twista addresses rumors that he’s close to signing with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music label. Currently, he says there’s no deal in place, but said he would definitely be interested if it made sense for both parties.
He also talk about his upcoming LP, The Dark Horse, which he’s been working on with producer Taxster. While there’s no date, as of press time, Twista says to get ready for a flood of new music — including a Don Cannon-hosted mixtape, and at least, a couple EPs.
