Before Iggy Azalea’s anticipated debut The New Classic drops later this year, the blonde bombshell will wet fans’ palettes with a new EP entitled Glory. She hooked up with Fuse.tv over the weekend, while at the annual Bamboozle festival in New Jersey, and spoke a little about the upcoming project.
Iggy explained what the title means and represents while revealing a collaboration she recorded with Mike Posner called “Flash,” which she just loves. How would she described the song? Sexy ratchet…
“It’s like sexy ratchet. I define sexy ratchet. The beat is so R&B and just smooth, and you know Mike with his voice. It’s smooth, but the lyrics are ratchet — way worse than ‘Pu$$y’ … way worse. It makes ‘Pu$$y’ look very PG,” Iggy said, referring to the controversial single that helped her buzz take off initially.
Also in the interview, Iggy addresses her label status and explains how she and T.I. originally hooked up.
Her Glory EP drops June 1.
