Kanye West is taking G.O.O.D. Music to Cannes for this year’s festival, where he’ll debut a new film called “Cruel Summer.”
The project, which is helmed by his design company DONDA, will open at the Cannes Film Festival on May 23.
It will be an exhibit that will consist of an art installation and a short film, which was inspired by the upcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation of the same name. Kid Cudi and Aziz Ansari are among the stars.
Ye revealed, via a tweet in January, that the film will be shown on an immersive “7 Screen Experience”. Further details, including a summary of the film, were unknown at press time.
After debuting, “Cruel Summer” will remain open to the public for two days. Tickets are available at KanyeWest.com/CruelSummer.
