As Waka Flocka Flame gears up for the release of his upcoming sophomore album, Triple F Life, he’s feelin’ happy with his current situation in the music biz.
But, if fans remember, the Georgia rapper previously vowed to retire from the game last summer, expressing his frustrations with the “fakeness” of the industry.
A little less than a year later, Waka has changed his tune.
While backstage during the rapper’s “Hip Hop POV” appearance, he spoke with HipHopWired.com, revealing that he no longer has plans to retire.
“I’m on my second one, so the third one might be true,” Waka said. “I don’t know. The way they treat me, I spent my lifetime trying to do this. I don’t see myself quitting no more, it’s over for that. On to the next one.”
In addition to deading retirement plans, Waka also revealed a few of the guest appearances on his upcoming album, confirming features from Nicki Minaj, Alley Boy, Future, Slim Thug, and Drake, among others.
Triple F Life is due out June 12th.
