Cormega To Host ‘Digital Dynasty 20’ Mixtape, Submissions Open Now

Digital Dynasty 20 - hosted by CormegaIt’s that time again. After dropping the 19th installment of our Digital Dynasty mixtape series in early March, we are pleased to announce the upcoming 20th volume, which will be hosted by Queens rap legend, Cormega.

“Now it’s my turn,” declares ‘Mega. “This is more then just a mixtape, it’s a dynasty. This is real hip-hop whether you are signed or unsigned. All we hear is good music. Time to make sh** happen.”

Cormega will play host for the free mixtape series, curated by New Jersey rapper/producer Tha Advocate, which gives shine to up-and-comers across the nation … and beyond.

“I am thrilled we are on our 20th official mixtape, four years after it was launched,” Advo says, reflecting on how the free mixtape series has grown. “We dropped our first Digital Dynasty in the summer of ’08 and now in Spring 2012, we coming again.

“I have no intentions of stopping and we are gonna keep supplying the Internet and street with that real hip-hop flavor from the underground to the mainstream,” he continued “This is why enlisting the Qboro legend, Cormega, is perfect timing to wrap up Volume 20. Mega recently formed his new group M.A.R.S., so expect to hear Mega classics with some new group records.”

Since its inception, the DD series has garnered over 1.2 million downloads. Past hosts include DJ Whoo Kid, Xzibit, the Alchemist, Ras Kass, Naughty By Nature, Killah Priest, Saigon, and Chamillionaire, among others.The tape series is dedicated to putting fans up on new talent, who may not otherwise get the exposure they should receive.
