Black Eyed Peas frontman, Will.i.am, is being by a company claiming he reneged on an agreement to promote a clothing line named after him.
According to TMZ, I.Am.Clothing filed a lawsuit against the 37-year-old rapper (real name: William James Adams, Jr.), claiming they inked a deal with him for the use of his name for their line, which he was also obligated to help design and also market.
However, Will has since failed to honor the agreement, which the company claims runs through 2016.
Will, however, states that the deal is over, and he’s fulfilled his business obligations.
I.Am.Clothing is seeking more than $2 million in the suit.
