Following a two-year stint in prison, Kenny Kingpin (formerly Poppa L.Q.) hit the streets hard, trying to regain the buzz he had in the music biz before catching a case. Over the last year, the South Central rapper has done just that, mixing with buzzing rappers like French Montana and vets like E-40.
Off his 2011 project, Rubberband Ready, Kenny unleashes a new visual for the street banger “Get It Back.”
In the Ben Marc-directed clip, the rapper is holed up in a dark stash house, spending his time clutching an AK and ironing his stacks of money, while spitting bars about the very real experiences he’s been through in the streets.
