The YMCMB family continues to add pieces to their growing artist roster — the latest being singer Christina Milian.
During the annual Cash Money Pre-Grammys party, held at Paramount Studios on Saturday night (February 11), Young Money founder Lil Wayne took the stage, announcing Milian’s signing to the label.
“I got the beautiful Christina Milian with me,” Weezy said. “Young Money, Christina Milian.”
Details of the deal were unknown.
The singer seemed to confirm the YMCMB deal via Twitter Sunday, tweeting (@CMilianOfficial): “The answer is….Yes. Let’s Get To Work! I Heart You Guys.. It’s Now or Never. :*”
If true, Milian joins a roster that includes Nicki Minaj, Drake, Lil Twist, Tyga, Cory Gunz, and Shanell, among others.
Milian was previously signed to The-Dream’s Radio Killa Records imprint on Def Jam, but her album was never released.
The singer/actress’ last album was 2006’s So Amazin’, which boasted the lead single “Dip It Low”. However, the LP didn’t meet expectations.
