New Jersey-bred 1990s hip-hop group, the Artifacts, reunite in this brand new track/music video for El Da Sensei’s “Everyday In The Street,” off his new Nu World Remix EP.
In the Monstar-directed clip, the rapper reunites with Artifacts members Tame One and DJ Kaos, as they display visuals of the streets of Newark, New Jersey.
The video begins with a guy breaking into a car, hot wiring it, and taking it for a joy ride. As he drives away, he pumps up the radio kicking off the instrumental to the track.
From there, fellas on the block are chilling, then El Da Sensei emerges breaking into the first verse. His performance is dispersed in between visuals of Newark’s impoverished inner-city — from robberies to fellas fighting on the corner over a dice game, it shows all the happenings every day in the street.
El Da Sensei’s Nu World Remix EP is out now, via iTunes.
