Since bursting onto the scene in the early 1990s with her breakout single “Funkdafied”, female rap vet Da Brat has always had a very tomboy-ish look and swagger. However, by the early-2000s, she embraced her sexiness, rocking less clothing and showed off a body fans never knew she had. By the time Brat appeared on a 2004 cover of Smooth magazine (see here), people forgot she was ever a tomboy. But, in recent years, as she appeared on reality TV shows like “The Surreal Life” and “Celebrity Fit Club,”, her boyish look was back and it’s been that way since.
Well, is Da Brat ready to get her sexy on … again? Maybe.
BallerStatus cameras spotted her walking the streets of New York on Thursday (January 26) with famed stylist June Ambrose, rocking a pair of 8″ heels. The interesting part was that it appeared that Ambrose was giving Brat a lesson in “Walking in Heels 101”, after they copped a pair during a day of shopping on Madison Ave.
While it’s unclear why Brat was getting lessons in walking in heels, we hear that the stylist is helping the rapper/reality star find a new look. You may not be able to see from these pics, but by starting with heels, it seems as though everyone may get the sexy Brat back.
Insiders tell us Ambrose is working with Brat to totally re-brand her with a new image … and, that everyone should expect to see a new Brat very soon.
Can Brat pull it off? If you search the net of past images of her, you’ll see she has it in her. But, the proof is in the pudding.
