In support of the Costacos Brothers’ recent Los Angeles gallery exhibit show, dubbed “For The Kids,” New York-based No Mas released a special collection of tees featuring their works.
The Costacos made a name for themselves during the 1980s with a series posters that offered fantasy-based depictions of a wide array of sports kingpins, giving each a super-hero like, larger-than-life look.
After debuting their classic works during a show in New York last summer, their “For The Kids” exhibit came to Los Angeles over the weekend, giving attendees an up-close look at a range of artwork, lithographs and other visuals from the Costacos Brothers archives.
As a special collabo, No Mas was tapped to turn five of the photo prints into a unique collection of tees to align with the show.
Limited to just 50 pieces of each style, the graphic tees boast visuals that include the likes of iconic 1980s sports figures: Bo Jackson, Jerry Rice, Kirk Gibson, James Worthy, as well as a Wayne Gretsky/Magic Johnson combo.
