Rihanna’s LOUD Tour Among Top 10 Of 2011, Raking In $90 Million — Usher, Jay-Z/Kanye West Among Top 25

Working in support of her Loud album, the singer went on an international tour, which was among the top 10 tours of the year among all acts, grossing a whopping $90 million.

That number put her at #7 on Pollstar’s Top 25 Worldwide Tours of 2011, behind the likes of Bon Jovi, Elton Jon, Taylor Swift and U2 (who came in at #1, grossing over $231 million).

Rihanna’s “Loud Tour” wrapped just before Christmas, and had the singer playing at 99 shows in 78 cities with an average of $75 per ticket during the six-month tour run through North America, South America, and Europe.

The pop star topped her fellow peers, including stars like Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry.

Usher made the list at #17 with his “OMG” tour, which raked in $59.1 million. And later, at #23 is Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “Watch the Throne” outing grossed $48.3 million with only 35 shows.
