Bay Area-bred producer/rapper Droop-E — son of the legendary E-40 — teamed up with streetwear brands Black Scale and Diamond Supply Co. for a collaborative project comprised of limited tees and a free music project, called Blvck Diamond Life.
On the eight-track effort, he samples several of Sade’s classic tracks for hip-hop translations.
This is the latest visual off the project. Droop-E hooked up with director Damon Jamal for the clip for “Like A Tattoo, in which the rapper lounges in the hills of the Bay Area, spitting bars about a lady so sick wit it, he wears her like a tattoo.
