Chicago rap star Common offers some stimulating visuals off for his brand new single, “Blue Sky,” off his upcoming album, The Dreamer, The Believer, produced entirely by No ID.’

The Parris-directed clip has the rapper reaching for the stars in the uplifting video, shot at the Barclay Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. It features vignettes of people chasing their dreams — including a violinist, ballerina, artist, and basketball player.

“We’re able to show the inspiration that the song creates,” Common told from the set. “Now we’re able to take these vignettes and show people aspiring to get their dreams and that’s really what the song is about, like saying go get it.”
