D.C. rapstress Lola Monroe, formerly known as video vixen Angel Lola Luv, has been officially jumped into Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang, aka she has signed to his record label.
Lola was recently a guest on Greg Street’s Atlanta radio show on V-103, revealing the news of the signing and also explaining why Wiz’s camp was the right fit for her.
“We got it in with Taylor Gang. We Taylored now,” the 25-year-old femcee said on the air.
“Wiz is like a positive free individual that’s about his business and that matches everything I’ve created on my side,” she Lola continued. “When he reached out, he was like, ‘I feel as though our movements represent the same thing, so I want you to rep Taylor Gang.’ And I agreed, so it’s only right.”
Although she’s had previously deal offers, she said Wiz make her feel comfortable, so she trust her gut.
“Out of all the situations that came to me, my business instincts and just the comfort level, I felt it was just the right move with him. He’s a stand-up dude and it just felt right,” Lola explained.
With a new deal in place, Lola is getting right to work. She just dropped her latest single as the First Lady of Taylor Gang (listen below), titled “Darling”featuring her new boss, Wiz.
She’s also working on two new mixtapes, including the DJ Ill Will-hosted Crown Ain’t Safe.
