Cypress Hill’s DJ Muggs has been hard at work for over a year on his long awaited hybrid hip-hop project, titled Bass For Your Face. While details regarding the album are still scarce, the legendary producer/DJ is taking his show overseas to give European fans a dose of what’s to come.
With legendary Bay Area-bred turntablist DJ Qbert co-headlining, Muggs has announced dates for a 14-date European leg of his “Base For Your Face Tour.”
The tour kicks off on October 17 in Geneva, Switzerland; and make it way through several cities in France and England — including London, Paris, Marseille, Vannes, and Montpellier.
The trek comes to a close oN November 11 at the Rok in Luzern, Switzerland, where he’ll be performing a solo set.
Muggs previously said his Bass For Your Face project would combine multiple genres of music, but made it clear it was a hip-hop album.
“Bass For Your Face is a hip-hop hybrid album with elements of glitch, dubstep, electronic and rock. It’s where I am at the moment in my never ending quest to push the envelope of sounds and styles,” he said.
At press time, the forthcoming album had no release date.
