Jordan Brand recently unveiled imagery of the upcoming Spizike “New York Knicks” pack, which will be available in two colorways next month.
The Jordan Spizike’s were first released in 2006, as a tribute to the historic relationship between NBA great Michael Jordan and director Spike Lee, which began when Mars Blackmon (a character from Spike Lee’s film, “She’s Gotta Have It”) became the primary pitchman in Nike commercials for Air Jordans.
They’ve since become one of the most iconic pairs of Jordan sneakers ever.
The upcoming “Knicks” pack pays tribute to the storied NBA franchise, which Lee is a diehard fan of, with color schemes synonymous with the legendary knickerbockers.
According to HypeBeast.com, both versions of the sneaker will hit retailers on November 5th, and will retail for $175.
