After two scary medical emergencies, as he tried to fly from Florida to Memphis on Friday (October 14), rapper Rick Ross finally made it to his destination sometime over the weekend, where he celebrated the grand opening of his new Wingstop franchise restaurant.
As he tried fly to Memphis on a commercial flight earlier Friday, he suffered a seizure shortly after take-off. The plane made an emergency landing so Ross could receive medical attention.
After recovering, Ross boarded a private jet hours later, trying to make it to Memphis in time for a scheduled performance that evening. But, he suffered yet another seizure. The jet made an emergency landing in Birmingham, Alabama, where he was admitted into the hospital … and that’s the last we heard.
Via Twitter, Ross finally surfaced … in a photo, which showed him at the Wingstop opening alongside DJ Khaled and road DJ Sam Sneaker who tweeted the photo (above). “The Boss is good…@rickyrozay #MMG,” Sneaker wrote (@DJSamSneaker).
Khaled added (@TheRealDJKhaled): “My brother ROZAY!!IS GOOD!!! @rickyrozay @Iamguccipucci #powercircle.”
It’s good to see Ross up and walking around after the health scare. However, further details about his condition were unknown.
It’s also unclear how Ross actually got to Memphis.
