The Game proposesCongratulations are in order for longtime BallerStatus supporter, The Game. The rapper is newly engaged.

The Compton rap star got down on one knee and everything, popping the question to his girlfriend of seven years, Tiffany Cambridge, in a surprise proposal at a Los Angeles elementary school where she teaches.

TMZ (and other) cameras followed Game there, and captured it on camera.

After Tiffany -- who is a teacher at Frank D. Parent Elementary school in Inglewood, Calif. -- walks through the door, Game gets down on one knee immediately, pulls out the ring, and asks simply, "I wanted to ask you: would you marry me?"

With a smile on her face, she responded immediately, "Yes, Jaycean to which she immediately said yes.

MTV News reports that Game got the school in on it. He had the principal of the school call her in for a meeting. But instead of a meeting, the rapper proposed ... in front of their children, friends, co-workers, and reporters.

"As a man, this is that day where you throw your player card away, and you kinda gotta step up and be a family man," Game said. "She deserves this. It's been a long run and we've been together -- it's been seven years. We've been off, we've been on, argued and we've fought. We've had good times and bad times. At the end of the day, as a man, this is something that I owe to her, and I owe it to my family. It was time."

The couple has two children together -- a son named King Justice and a daughter named Cali. Game also has a third child, Harlem, from a previous relationship.
