Glasses Malone

Glasses MaloneFresh off the release of his debut album Beach Cruiser this week, Glasses Malone announces that he will hit the road later this month for Humboldt County duo Potluck’s “Rhymes & Resin” tour.

Kicking off on September 17 in Denver, the tour will head across the U.S., making stop in Cleveland, DC, Pittsburgh, New York, Atlanta, Seattle, and many other cities. Things will come to a close on October 22 in Reno, Nevada.

“Touring with Glasses Malone is going to be dope. We are huge fans of his and have a lot of respect for what he does. I’m excited to hit the road and rock these show together,” said UnderRated from Potluck. “We’re going to have a couple more special guests out on the road with us and those will be announced shortly.”

“I’m excited to hit the road again and see my fans again,” added Glasses Malone. “I have a great live show ready for this tour so people can get the full Beach Cruiser experience.”

Potluck dropped their latest album, also titled Rhymes & Resin, in late June. It debuted at #17 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart and at #28 on the Rap album charts.

Their grinding blue collar work ethic and unwavering perseverance to build a fan base is one of the most impressive stories in hip-hop. In the past, they’ve toured with the likes of Tech N9ne, E-40, La Coka Nostra, and D12.

Glasses Malone’s Beach Cruiser dropped on August 30. It’s been one of the most heavily anticipated albums of 2011, and has been years in the making. After being co-signed by some of the biggest names in the game — including Birdman, Mack 10, Dr. Dre, The Game, and Lil Wayne — he’s finally here and ready to stay.

BallerStatus is currently running a contest, giving away a custom beach cruiser to one lucky Glasses Malone fan. Click here to find out how to enter.
