Indie rap juggernaut Strange Music, headed by Tech N9ne, continue to add to their growing roster, with the signing of former No Limit Records rapper, Young Bleed.
According to KevinNottingham.com, the Baton Rouge rapper finally made things official recently, after working out the details since May.
Bleed is best known for his hit single, “How Ya Do Dat”, which featured C-Loc and Master P, and appeared on his 1998 debut, My Balls and My Word. The album debuted at #10 on the Billboard 200 upon release, and eventually hit gold sales, with over 500,000 units scanned.
The rapper has released four albums throughout his career, his last being in 2007, titled Once Upon a Time in America, which dropped on C-Bo’s West Coast Mafia imprint.
Bleed joins a Strange Music roster that already boasts artists such as Jay Rock, Brotha Lynch Hung, ¡Mayday!, Stevie Stone, Kutt Calhoun, and Krizz Kaliko, among others.
At press time, when Bleed would drop his Strange Music debut was unknown.
