In the past few years, while most companies are scaling back, Denver-based Akomplice Clothing is moving ahead full fledged.
In their latest move, the brand is teaming up with one of their long-term retailers, Fuzion, to create a unique, collaborative store space on Santa Barbara, California’s famed State Street.
The signage out front provokes intrigue with the literal and metaphorical chain links between the Akomplice and Fuzion signs; while the interior will remain a secret until the store unveiling.
The companies will celebrate its grand opening on Thursday (June 2) at 7:30 p.m., where they will showcase an exhibit of Akomplice’s lineage and will stock hard to find items dating all the way back to their inception.
“This will be a monumental night in the history of Akomplice,” said Patrick Liberty, Akomplice’s co-founder.
The evening will also include music by Catch Lungs and Sorry for Partying, as well as art and fashion.
