West coast rap vet, Mack 10, was hospitalized sometime this week for treatment of a severe stomach illness.
According to AllHipHop.com, the rapper was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital after suffering from severe stomach pains, and was diagnosed with diverticulitis, a swelling of an abnormal pouch in the intestinal wall.
“He went to the hospital with unbearable pain and was diagnosed,” a source told the site. “He’s still there, he’s just gonna take time to heal.”
The 39-year-old reportedly underwent surgery and is currently recovering. Stay tuned…
In February, Mack 10 announced that he was re-launching his Hoo Bangin’ Records imprint with the addition of vets like Bay Area rapper Richie Rich and Xzibit, and new projects.
The first album to drop from the newly re-vamped Hoo Bangin’ label is the joint LP from Mack 10 and Glasses Malone called Money Music, due out this month.
