Romeo Miller Does The Rumba On ‘Dancing With The Stars’

After wowing judges last week with a “seamless quickstep”, Romeo Miller and his dance partner Chelsie Hightower perform the rumba on Monday evening’s (April 4) episode of “Dancing With The Stars,” performing to Jackson 5’s “I’ll Be There.”

During Romeo’s segment, he explained why he chose the Jackson song. The song and performance is dedicated to his two young cousins who were tragically killed when he was a young kid.

While the judges admired his heartfelt set, he was only awarded him 20/30.

“There was something really nice about the way you committed emotionally to that dance,’ said judge Carrie Ann Inaba, while Len Goodman was not as complimentary, calling it a “huge step back.”

  1. DWTS is really not a show for hip hop artist. I use to watch it faithfully until I began to realize that AFRICAN AMERICAN are usually not a fan favorite. I believe the only AFRICAN AMERICAN that won is EMMITT SMITH. SCARY SPICE is the only AFRICAN AMERICAN woman and I believe JERRY RICE was the only AFRICAN AMERICAN man that have been a runner up. Now what volumn does that speak. I’m sure I’m the only one that will speak the truth about this cause know one likes to unveil the truth about race. So by me saying that I REALLY DO WISH YOU THE VERY BEST OF LUCK ROMEO. I have watched and voted for you and 1 other each week. If BRANDY got voted off last season and she was good, I do believe you will follow regardless how good you become.
