PRO-Keds has launched a new webisode series featuring influencers in the fashion, music and art scene, dubbed “The Footprint Series”. The series highlights the minds of industry tastemakers who constantly reinvent and define popular culture.

In this clip, the shoe company features rapper Murs, as he takes them to his at album signing for the collaborative album with Terrace Martin called Melrose. He speaks on Paid Dues, current projects, and going on tour rocking PRO-Keds.

“The first time I ever wanted a pair of Pro-Keds, I was a kid,” Murs says. “First time I ever actually wore a of Pro-Keds I was probably like 21 years old, running around the streets of New York. But, my shoes were dope and they were mad comfortable. That was the year I did like 250 shows in a year and I had some blue on blue Pro-Keds. I rocked almost every show in them shoes.”

Murs will headline the 2011 Paid Dues Independent Music Festival on Saturday (April 2) in San Bernardino, Calif. Visit PaidDuesFestival.com for info.
