Damon Dash is looking to jump into the fashion biz once again, but this time on the retail end, with the launch of a vintage clothing store in New York City.
According to TheBoomBox.com, Dash is set to open Local 172 Trading Post, which will target both men and women, carrying lines such as Ralph Lauren, Pendelton, LL Bean and Woolrich.
The grand opening event will feature special performances, as well as much by SkiBeatz, DJ Edan and DJ Ghostdad.
The former Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder has been in the fashion biz for years. He previously owned a piece of Rocawear, alongside former business partner Jay-Z, but ended up selling his portion back to the rap superstar for $22, who then turned around and flipped the brand for a reported $204 million.
He’s since endured a string of financial missteps, but is slowly building back his portfolio.
Dash currently runs a gallery space called DD172 in Manhattan’s Tribeca area, which is home to his art gallery, record label and recording studio.
Local 172 Trading Post is his latest venture, which is scheduled to open March 26 at 12PM.
