Chris Brown’s violent temper popped up again Tuesday morning (March 22), despite completing previous anger management courses following his infamous altercation with Rihanna two years ago.
The 21-year-old reportedly blew up behind the scenes at “Good Morning America” Tuesday, after he was asked repeatedly asked about the Rihanna assault on-air, resulting in him smashing a window and storming out shirtless, reports TMZ.
Sources at the ABC network tell TMZ that Breezy performed and was interviewed by Robin Roberts, live from the Times Square studio, when she began asking about the infamous incident. Although he tried to redirect the questions to the release of his F.A.M.E. album, Roberts continued to ask about the legal issues surrounding the incident, specially (in the clip below) the softening of the restraining order.
While he didn’t explode on-air, you can tell he’s getting agitated. By the time the interview was complete, Breezy was fuming, and when it was over, stormed into his dressing room and screamed so loud that people backstage became alarmed and called security.
One source tells TMZ that he smashed a window (with a chair) in his dressing room, which sent shards of glasses onto 43rd and Broadway.
By the time security responded, Breezy had ripped off his shirt and left the building, despite being scheduled for another performance for ABC. On the way out, he also confronted a segment producer for “Good Morning America,” getting into his face and staring him down, but staff intervened.
Following the incident, Brown hit Twitter (@ChrisBrown), writing: “I’m so over people bringing this past sh** up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for there bullsh**.” The tweet was later deleted and Breezy added another that said, “All my fans!!! This album is for you and only you!!! I’m so tired of everyone else!! Honestly!! I love team breezy!!”
Roberts tells TMZ that her questions were approved by Breezy prior to their interview. She insists that she wasn’t trying to set him up, adding “I’m pulling for the guy.”
