Rising Los Angeles rapper, Nipsey Hussle, was reportedly involved in an altercation with former manager Eugene “Big U” Henley on Friday (March 18) in Los Angeles, which ended in gunfire.
According to AllHipHop.com, the pair ran into each other at the intersection of Crenshaw and Slauson, and began arguing. From there, it quickly escalated into a physical brawl, and ended with Nipsey’s brother, Samiel Asghedom, firing off one shot into the air.
Shortly after, police arrived, responding to gunshots in the area, and upon arrival, fired shots at Asghedom, but did not strike him.
AHH’s report says all men were taken into custody.
At press time, it was unknown if any charges were filed. We were unable to confirm any arrest from the LAPD.
One thing is clear, Nipsey is not in jail. The rapper later took to his Twitter page to make a statement about the matter.
“I ain’t dead … I ain’t in jail … and I ain’t on tha run. TMC,” Nipsey wrote on Twitter (@NipseyHussle).
Other eyewitness reports claim that that though a conflict occurred, the three men were not involved.
Nipsey Hussle and Henley were once business associates that put out a number of street albums, but to date, no retail CD was ever released through their dealings.
