Young Cali duo, the New Boyz, are gearing up for their sophomore album. After introducing the world to a dance movement with their breakout single, “You’re A Jerk,” the duo hit everyone with a track for the ladies called “Tie Me Down.” Now, they are focused less on the dance that helped them break into the mainstream, and right into the clubs with their latet single, “Backseat.”
In their Jake Davis-directed music video, the New Boyz ride dirty with the help of The Cataracs and Dev. The clip features fast cars, beautiful women, and an up-tempo dance beat, sure to get people on the dancefloor in the club scene.
So far, it has sold over 150K singles in two weeks and premiered in the top 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and will be featured on their upcoming album, Too Cool To Care, which is due for release on May 10.
