Following his monumental success over the last couple years, and the release of his debut Doo-Wops & Hooligans, Hawaiian singer Bruno Mars starts off 2011 with his first-ever magazine cover … for Vibe.
“The Hawaii native has turned into an international star, topping the charts as a featured guest, songwriter and solo act,” the magazine says of Mars. “Salute to you Mr. Mars. We look forward to seeing you win this weekend at the Grammys.”

Mars is up for seven Grammys, and will be featured as one of Vibe’s Pop Boys in the their upcoming Feb/March issue, set to his newsstands on February 22. Wiz Khalifa and one other new pop culture phenom share cover duties for the magazine’s “New Pop Music” issue.
