Chamillionaire was pushing for the Pittsburgh Steelers to win Super Bowl XLV, that he promised to deliver a free song to fans if they lost … and they did, at the hands of the Green Bay Packers on Sunday (February 6).
After losing an undisclosed amount of cash in a bet on the Steelers, the Texas rapper made good on his word, dropped a free track he called “After The Super Bowl,” which was a freestyle over Waka Flocka Flame’s “No Hands” instrumental.
On the track, Cham tosses a few jobs at the Super Bowl champs, while giving props to the black and yellow sporting team.
“Never seen losers in yellow and black / And they call them the Packers ’cause they gon’ pack / Know what I mean? Told her green, they gon’ be the losing team / Only thing that me and Green Bay got in common is the green,” the rapper spit.
Chamillionaire announced the bet on Saturday (February 4), a day before the Super Bowl, explaining two different outcomes depending on the outcome of the game.
“Ok its a bet,” he tweeted (@Chamillionaire). “Packers win ill release another song after game. Steelers win yall have to buy this AGAIN!!!”
After the loss, an upset Cham dropped the track, with this message: “Maaaaaaaaaan I cant believe I lost!!!!!!! Here is your song you dweebs…..”
From the lyrics, it sounds as if they track was recorded before the big Bowl day, because in a few bars, he asks some ladies to come through to watch the game with him … and kick it after the loss.
“You should gon’ and bring some partners through and we can chill after the Super Bowl / Super Bowl / Maybe me and you can kick it for a few after the Packers lose.”
