MashondaMashonda, a singer and ex-wife of producer Swizz Beatz, is set to star in a new VH1 reality show, alongside Fabolous' girlfriend Kimberly Bustamante, and Jim Jones' girlfriend Christine "Chrissy" Lampkin.

In the show, called "Love & Hip-Hop," the singer and girlfriends will be followed by cameras as they maneuver through both personal and professional obstacles while trying to make it in the entertainment industry, similar to the format of popular shows, "Basketball Wives" and "Football Wives".

"The show is about strength and womanhood. I'm excited about the show and the women on it," said Mashonda.

Mashonda was in the news quite a bit over the last couple years, due to the controversy regarding her divorce from Swizz Beatz, who she claims cheated on her with Alicia Keys while the couple were still married.

Swizzy is now married to Keys and recently welcomed their first child together. He also has a child with Mashonda.

At press time, it was unclear if her relationship with Swizz Beatz would be shown on the upcoming series.

"Love & Hip-Hop" is scheduled to air March 21.
