Young Chris Suffers Seizure During NYC Concert
Former Roc-A-Fella signee Young Chris, of the duo Young Gunz, was reportedly rushed to the hospital late Wednesday evening (December 22) after suffering a seizure during a performance in New York City.
According to reports, the Philly rapper was performing at the S.O.B.'s nightclub in Manhattan's West Village, when mid-performance he collapsed during a sudden seizure.
Chris (real name: Chris Ries) was admitted to a nearby hospital, where he was treated and eventually released.
Early Thursday morning (December 23), the rapper hopped on Twitter to give fans an update on his condition. "Thank you for all the prayers!!!!! I'm good."
Chris was performing as part of Hot 97 and Kodak's popular 'Who's Next' concert series. Young Gunz and Lloyd Banks took the stage to open up for Alabama rapper Yelawolf, who performed songs from his Trunk Muzik: 0-60 mixtape.
During the show, Young Chris ran through tracks from his latest mixtape, The Re-Introduction and performed the Young Gunz hit single, "Can't Stop, Won't Stop".
