NBA 2K11 launch partyThis year, the famous Hudson Terrance was the location for the launch party for NBA 2K11, an event that always seems to top the year before.

Among the NBA players who came out were Andre Iguodala, Rajon Rondo, Brook Lopez, Josh Smith, Derrick Rose, Patrick Ewing Jr., Russell Westbrook, Wilson Chandler, and more.

With DJ Drama on the ones and twos, the players enjoyed some 2K battles against each other, all while taking the time to answer interview questions, smile for pics with fans, and mingle with celebs who came through to show love.

Lloyd Banks made an early appearance, and enjoyed being among the first to test out the games newest features. Nick Cannon also came through to enjoy some of the festivities, as did Cassidy, Vado, and MTV's Sway Calloway. Performances by Buckshot, Sean Price and Skyzoo got everyone hype, followed by an amazing performance by Common that topped off the night.

As usual, the launch party was a great success, with players and celebrities from previous years making sure not to miss it (Andre Iguodala, Rajon Rondo, and Brook Lopez have attended previous years, as well as Cassidy).

This year's NBA 2K11 cover athlete is Michael Jordan, who graces a video game for the first time in years. It drops October 5th, and will be available on the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PS2, PS3 and PSP as well as PC. Check out 2KSports.com for trailers and more.
