Following Kanye West’s Twitter rant on Friday (September 3), where he issued another apology to Taylor Swift as well as revealed that he had written a song for her, the young country star has reportedly accused West of using her name to promote his upcoming album.
“Taylor is furious that Kanye keeps discussing the VMAs incident,” the source told the website. “She’s fed up of hearing about it and is disgusted that he has the cheek to use her name to promote his new album! Taylor has moved on from the incident and is hoping Kanye will — eventually — do the same.”
A day after West crashed the MTV VMAs stage during Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video, West appeared on the “Jay Leno Show” and issued a public apology.
Now, as he gears up for another album and to perform at the 2010 MTV VMAs, West landed on Twitter on Friday where he ranted in several tweets begging Swift for forgiveness and admitted he was wrong for the incident.
“With new found humility … who am I to run on stage? I would never ever again in a million years do that. Sorry to let you down,” West tweeted.
He continued, explaining that he had written a song dedicated to Swift and plans to give it to her. If she doesn’t want it, he says he’ll perform it for her.
