Someone close to Kanye West revealed this week that he is working on a movie that will accompany his upcoming new album, Dark Twisted Fantasy.
Photos from the set surface on blogs Wednesday (September 1), confirming what the source told MTV News.
While its unclear what kind of scene the photos were from, it looks to be in between takes from filming, and in one West is walking over to a waiting deer.
“On set of the movie,” ‘Ye wrote in a Twitter message last week, confirming what is seen in the photos. “This doe just refuses to sit still. … I told the deer … ‘what would Bambi do?’ & she looked at me like I was crazy.”
According to further tweets, West was shooting in Prague, where he shot scenes for an unknown number of 16-hour days.
“Been shooting 16 hour days. … I’m so excited. … It’s like a child’s delusions become reality,” he tweeted.
Further details about the accompanying movie were not known at press time, nor has West officially commented on the project either.
This wouldn’t be the first time that West has delved into film. His last album, 808s and Heartbreaks, featured the Spike Jones-directed short film “We Were Once A Fairytale.”
