As a part of Kanye West’s new “G.O.O.D. Fridays” leak schedule, the rapper-producer dropped a heater last Friday (Aug. 27) called “Monster”, featuring himself alongside Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj and indie folk singer Bon Iver.
Not only did West excite fans with the star-studded leak, but he also gave them a lot more to look forward to … when he revealed that he and Jay-Z were prepping a joint project.
Via Twitter (@KanyeWest), West revealed that the upcoming joint effort would be titled Watch The Throne and would consist of five songs, “Monster” being one of them.
“Me and Jay bout to drop a 5 song album called Watch the Throne,” Kanye tweeted Friday (August 27).
A snippet of “Monster” was leaked in early June, featuring only a verse from Rick Ross.
A release date for the project with Jay was not revealed at press time.
Kanye’s fifth studio album, currently titled Dark Twisted Fantasy, is expected to drop in November.
