Incarcerated rapper C-Murder is set to release his ninth studio album, Tomorrow, in June.
The material was recorded while the New Orleans rapper was confined to house arrest, awaiting a new trial for murder charges, and amidst prosecutors attempting to move him from his home back to jail.
During that time, his camp says he poured all his energy and creativity into creating Tomorrow.
His camp says the album “retains the gritty edge that won C-Murder fans in his native New Orleans and all over the world, while also exploring different sides of his complex personality.”
It’s his second album since his conviction and subsequent sentencing to life in prison.
Tomorrow was primarily produced by T Rhythm, who previous credits include Snoop Dogg, B.G., Juvenile and others).
The album is due out June 15th.
