VH1 announced the performers who will participate in this year’s 2010 Hip-Hop Honors ceremony, which will celebrate southern hip-hop.
This week, the network revealed their list of performers. Among them are Bun B, Lil Jon and T-Pain, who will help honor this year’s honorees.
The ceremony, which is now in its seventh year, will be paying tribute to the south’s contributions to hip-hop, the first time the show has honored an entire region.
Comedian Craig Robinson (“The Office,” “Hot Tub Time Machine”) will host the show this year, which is being taped at the Hammerstein Ballroom.
Other performers include Paul Wall, Pitbull and Trina.
Honorees, this year, include Jermaine Dupri, J. Prince of Rap-A-Lot Records, Master P, Organized Noize, Luther “Luke” Campbell and 2 Live Crew.
The VH1 Hip Hop Honors: Dirty South is slated to air on VH1 on June 7 at 9pm EST.
