The Gumball 3000 is back. The organizers of the event announced that the 12th annual 2010 Gumball 3000 Rally will kick off at the beginning of May in London, before heading through Europe.
The famed celebrity-driven rally begins May 1st in London, taking drivers on a seven-day race across Europe and North America before they cross the finish line on May 7th in New York.
They’ll race from London to to Amsterdam, Stockholm and Copenhagen, and then cross the Atlantic Ocean to hit North American legs from Boston, Quebec City and Toronto. The checkered flag will drop on May 7 in Times Square in the heart of New York City.
It’s a 3,000 trek, which will include celebs such as Xzibit, DJ Muggs, Dizzee Rascal, Eve, Bun B, Tony Hawk, Idris Elba and David Hasselhoff, among others.
Gumball founder Maximillion will race in a 2009 Spyker C8 Laviolette LM85, while Andrew Brimecome will drive a 2004 Dodge Viper SRT-10.
Other cars have yet to be announced.
