If you are following Sonny Weems (@sonny13) from the Toronto Raptors on Twitter, then you would know he has fallen madly in love.
Don’t believe me?
Check out the tweets below:
Yes, it seems as though “Unthinkable” by Alicia Keys has found its way into the heart of this basketball guard.
Not only is he tweeting about his new love, but we also heard him singing the words inside the Raptors’ locker room: “I was wondering maybe / Could I make you my baby / If we do the unthinkable, would it make us look crazy.”
“I don’t know why, I just love that song,” Weems told BallerStatus.com. “I got the CD two days ago, I can’t stop playing it.”
Weems scored a career-high, 21 points, against the Boston Celtics Wednesday night (April 7). I believe he deserves a present don’t you?
Well here you go Sonny, our gift to you… “Unthinkable” on repeat.
Okay not quite, but you can hit the play button as much times as you like.
Weems has been a baller as of late, replacing rookie DeMar DeRozan as Toronto’s starting shooting guard last month. In April, his averages are up to 14.2 ppg and 0.525 FG% in 31.0 mpg over five games.
