Wu-Tang’s Inspectah Deck Readies Fourth Solo Album For Late March

Inspectah DeckAs Wu members like Raekwon and the RZA bring the Clan back anticipated projects, other members are doing their part as well. The next on deck is Inspectah Deck, who is gearing up for the release of his fourth solo album, Manifesto, for late March.

On the new album, Deck enlists several capable spitters to rhyme alongside, such as Raekwon, Kurupt, Billy Danze of M.O.P, Cormega, Cappadonna, Termanology, Planet Asia and more.

Production duties are handled by The Alchemist, Lee Bannon, MoSS, Phenom (Young Money’s Roger That), Deck himself and others.

“This album isn’t about bashing hip-hop’s younger generation or hip-hop’s commercialism,” says Deck of the new album. “Manifesto is a celebration of 20 years in the game and still going strong as a valued asset to the culture.”

The new album is being released on Deck’s own Urban Iconz Records, via Traffic Entertainment Group.

“Inspectah Deck is one of the most respected artists in the business,” said Traffic Entettainment A&R, Charley “DJ Truth” Greenberg. “He has been a part of countless classics, and is one of only a handful of MCs in the history of hip-hop that can say they were a part of legitimately changing the game. Manifesto has been a long time coming and is an exceptional album.”

Here’s the first taste of the upcoming release: A track called “Serious Rappin’ “, featuring Termanology and Planet Asia. Download it right here.

Manifesto hits stores March 23.
