2009-10-23 - Black dynamite movieWhen “The Man” murders his brother, pumps heroin into local orphanages, and floods the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor, “Black Dynamite” is the one hero willing to fight all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House.

That’s the description given for the new film that’s in theaters now.

It’s a spoof of blaxploitation films of the 1970s.

According to Wikipedia, “the look of the film is a retro homage to all of the blaxploitation movies of the 70s, but unlike ‘Grindhouse’ (Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino’s exploitation homage) ‘Black Dynamite’ does not employ ‘fake scratches or digitally generated retro deterioration’, according to director Scott Sanders.
