Black Eyed PeasThe Black Eyed Peas hit a milestone this week, making history when their new single “Boom Boom Pow” became their 12th hit on the Mainstream Top 40 chart in the last 10 years.

The new single from their album, The E.N.D. currently sits at no. 1 on the Top 40 chart for four consecutive weeks, giving them the most Top 40 Mainstream Chart hits this decade, surpassing Backstreet Boys and Nickelback.

“Boom Boom Pow” has also held the no. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for nine consecutive weeks. Since its release nine weeks ago, it’s sold over 2.4 million digital downloads.

The video for the second single, “I Gotta Feeling,” premiered last week. It will debut this week on the Top 40 chart, one week before the official add date.

Both singles from from the B.E.P.’s new album The E.N.D., their first new album since 2005’s platinum-plus selling Monkey Business.

The E.N.D. is in stores now.
