Despite news surfacing in December that she was losing her North Carolina to foreclosure, singer Fantasia has fixed the problem.
According to the Associated Press, a lawyer for her lending company revealed that they had reached an agreement, and her million-dollar property will not go on auction.
While the attorney said that both parties had worked out the matter, no further details were disclosed.
If the agreement hadn’t been reached, the lending company would have sold Fantasia’s home on Monday (December 12), said the report.
Fantasia purchased the 6,000 sq. ft. home in 2007 for a reported $1.3 million, and for unknown reasons, had been unable to make the mortgage payments.
