Rapper Lil Boosie hosted a Thanksgiving “giveaway” to residents of his hometown of Baton Rouge, LA on Tuesday (November 25).
According to local news station WDAM, the rapper (real name: Torrence Hatch) donated 1,000 turkeys to needy families at the local McKinley Alumni Center, which he said was one of his ways of giving back to the community.
He showed up shortly after cameras left, said reports.
Organizers said he was on-hand, helping hand out turkeys and talk to everyone in live.
In past events, including one during the Easter holiday, the rapper gave away toys — 1,000 bicycles, board games, and school uniforms to be exact.
