Snoop DoggIs there a collabo in the process between Snoop Dogg and country singer LeAnn Rimes? "There could be," according to Rimes.

Rapper Snoop Dogg appeared at the Country Music Television Awards on Monday night (April 14) -- dressed in a black duster jacket, a black cowboy hat and black zip-up ankle boots -- and took a quick liking 25-year-old country singer very quickly, according to, asking to meet her as soon as he laid eyes on her.

"Wow -- damn! Who is that?" the rapper asked a reporter while backstage. When he learned who she was, Snoop gushed, "She is beautiful! Wow, wow, wow."

He then turned to Rimes and asked, "Can I meet you?" (She responded, "Nice to meet you, sir.") Before walking away, he was heard saying "You look like Marilyn Monroe!"

The compliments went over well with Rimes, who said a collabo may happen... one day.

"Snoop is really a gentleman and I loved meeting him," she told People. "He made me feel like the most beautiful woman there with all of his flattering comments. You never know, there could be a Snoop and LeAnn duet sometime soon! I never rule anything out!"

After Snoop dabbled in country music on his latest album, Ego Trippin', on the song "My Medicine," it seems like the collabo isn't that out of the question.

The song was also the reason he showed up for the CMT Awards.

"I actually did a country song on my new album called 'My Medicine' that was inspired by Johnny Cash," Snoop explained backstage about his appearance at the ceremony. "[Country music] inspires me and it makes me feel so good hearing it, so I really wanted to come and be a part of this heritage."

Could this mean more country music from the gangsta rapper? We'll have to wait and see.
