Rapper Snoop Dogg was issued a ticket on Wednesday night (February 20) for marijuana in front of a Manhattan nightclub.

According to the New York Post, the rapper (real name: Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr.) was handed a desk appearance ticket on Wednesday, when police caught him in possession of weed outside a club.

Snoop’s lawyer, Donald Etra, emphasized that his client was not arrested and that they plan to contest the ticket.

He was cited with possession of marijuana, which was what he was ticketed for.
