Foxy Brown was the alleged victim of a robbery during the early morning hours of Saturday (June 23) in Brooklyn, New York.

According to the New York Daily News, the rapper (real name: Inga Marchand) was attacked by three women in the East New York section of Brooklyn, who made away with her Louis Vuitton bag, $500 in cash and credit cards.

Reports claim the attack came from a bitter ex-boyfriend’s gal pals — who in the process pulled out Foxy’s hearing aid and hair weave, according to police.

The attack occurred after the 27-year-old female rapper and her unidentified boyfriend broke up, following a party at the Louis H. Pink Houses.

Foxy later filed a complaint with the police, who drove her through the neighborhood to find the culprits. The rapper later pointed 23-year-old Roshawn Anthony, who was charged with robbery, according to the paper.

Brown told the New York Post that there was no actual robbery and that she was nowhere near the public housing complex the attack allegedly took place. “A lot of the time, people mistake me for someone else, or people always call in these false tips,” Brown told New York Post on Saturday.

Police, however, confirm that Foxy was attacked.

The NY Daily News also noted that Foxy stopped co-operating with police when someone from her camp arrived on the scene.
