Young Jeezy has officially parted ways with longtime manager Coach K, who helped guide the Atlanta native to stardom and even helped recruit U.S.D.A. member Slick Pulla to the group.
Although Jeezy is moving on to a new page in his personal biography, he is not doing it manager-less. He has enlisted his Corporate Thugz Entertainment (CTE) business partner — and is also the label co-founder — Kinky B to steer his career.
“I just launched my new manage company, Hush Management,” Kinky B revealed to Ballerstatus.com. “I’m already his partner at CTE … Me and Jeezy have been together for the last 15 some odd years, so who better to manage him then his best friend?”
The changes for Young Jeezy were put into effect as of two weeks ago, when Coach K was dismissed from the position. Kinky B declined to comment on details regarding Coach’s departure, but stated, “There ain’t no beef, but I can’t comment further.”
Kinky B’s Hush Management currently manages Young Jeezy, Slick Pulla and an R&B artist named London, who is currently signed with Universal/Motown.
In other CTE news, the camp is continuing to work tje Young Jeezy Presents U.S.D.A.: Cold Summer project, which topped the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart during its debut week.
They are also wrapping up solo projects from U.S.D.A. members, Blood Raw and Slick Pulla. One of the albums — it’s currently undecided — is expected to drop in the third quarter of the year.
Additionally, Young Jeezy is working on the launch of his 8732 clothing line, slated to debut in the fall through Rocawear.
He is planning to launch a flagship store for the line in Atlanta.
